Please join me in welcoming Giovanny “Gio” Vazquez to Alliance Fabrication and Manufacturing (AFM) as our new Process Engineer!

Gio recently graduated with his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University Northwest, where he was an active member of the SAE Formula Club, designing, building, and racing international combustion cars. His experience includes process improvement, CFD modeling using ANSYS Fluent, and hands-on manufacturing support at Norman Filter Company.

Outside of work, Gio enjoys staying active; he’s a regular at the gym and enjoys going on runs. A lifelong soccer fan, Gio grew up playing for multiple teams and continues to love the sport today. He also has a two-year-old cat named Hazel who loves birdwatching from the window. If given the chance to travel anywhere, Gio would head to Tokyo to

 explore the culture and dive into their food scenes, especially the noodles!

We’re excited to have Gio bring his energy, curiosity, and engineering insight to the AFM team.
