Welcome, Benjamin (Ben) Elyea, to the Alliance Team!

We are excited to welcome Ben Elyea as our newest Manufacturing Engineer!

Ben is a graduate of the University of Michigan-Dearborn with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. He brings valuable experience from his roles at Battle Motors, Morgan Olson, and Spartan Motors, where he specialized in CAD design, product development, engineering, and manufacturing support. His technical background includes proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Catia, Epicor, and other manufacturing and project management systems.

Ben’s hands-on experience designing complex parts, supporting production launches, and problem-solving makes him a strong addition to our team.

A Michigan native, Ben graduated in 2019 and enjoys spending his free time hunting, fishing, golfing, wakeboarding, and snowboarding with friends—although he claims he's “not particularly good” at any of them. He also has a passion for learning about history, economics, and foreign languages.

Football is his favorite sport, blending athleticism and strategy—two things he appreciates both on the field and in his career. Fittingly, fall is his favorite season, with its full sports schedule, great weather, and the excitement of upcoming holidays.

The best advice Ben carries with him is:

  • "You are who you surround yourself with, so choose wisely."
  • "Bad things will happen, but that is not what defines you. What defines you is how you react."

Please join us in giving him a warm welcome as he begins his journey with Alliance Fabrication and Manufacturing.
